Quality & Durability
Like the ChuckIt! Ultra Ball I have gone through several of these. They did not break or got chewed out, I simply lose them in bushes and terrains from all the throwing and fetching. They have not chipped, shredded, flaked, or shown a single bitemark even when used as a chew toy. Unlike the Ultra ball the Erratic has a hollow middle which treats can be added to the inside.
Fun Factor
On its own, this ChuckIt! ball already has an amazing bounce. Combine that with its unique angled surface and you get frantic bounce patterns that will have the ball jumping in random directions. Your dogs will get a good exercise while working on their reflexes as they twist and turn trying to catch up with the ball.
You can fill the hollow center with treats and use it as a treat toy. You can also put a rope or bungee cord through it and turn it into a tug toy as well. This ChuckIt! dog ball comes in a fun green color that stands out and is easy to see. It even floats in water!
Value
This is in my experience an indestructible dog toy for my Rottweiler. It gets full marks for value, and I am still using it every day. Like the Ultra ball, it costs a bit extra compared to an average ball. It is well worth the extra spend because of its long-lasting durability.
Safety
This dog toy is safe and quite easy to clean. Filling the hollow center with food and treats may take some effort to clean out. I recommend you hand wash this dog toy to keep it free from germ and debris. It doesn’t shred, chip, flake or show signs of wear and tear even after 2 years of heavy use. I never had to worry when leaving my Rottweiler with this toy unattended.
Indoor Use: This thing bounces everywhere and can knock over breakable objects and other stuff on lower countertops.
Outdoor Use: Unlike solid balls, this one can trap dirt and food on the inside. Check regularly and clean as needed.
Final Thoughts
After 2 years of use, my ChuckIt! ball does not have any signs of wear. It still looks and feels like the first day it was bought, and that factor is what makes it a hit with medium and large size dogs. My Rottweiler and I are always excited to play with it. For smaller dogs, there is a smaller sized option as well.
