Fun Factor
Me and my Rottweiler Eli enjoyed playing with it as a fetch toy, but it isn’t our favorite fetch ball. It doesn’t have a lot of bounce and not enough give for chewing. This is actually more suited as a tug toy, though I have not bought a rope for it yet. I also have not found a dog treat that works well with this toy and there will be an update after I test the tug and treat toy functions. KONG toys are well-known for their outstanding durability, and you can feel it the moment you pick up this dog ball toy. It is a mass of solid rubber with a hole that is cut right through the middle. The texture feels very nice despite being quite thick and it won’t give when squeezed firmly. It is perfect for a big dog that likes to chew and you could even use it as a stress ball, possibly

This KONG toy is simple, safe, and easy to clean. There are no visible bite marks even after 2 years of use and the high-quality rubber doesn’t shred, chip, or flake. I would not worry about leaving this toy with a dog unattended.
Indoor: Since it is heavier than the average ball and will knock things over if thrown inside. Definitely be careful if you do so.
Value
This dog ball has already lasted a few years with no signs of wear. It will definitely stand up to the heaviest power chewers as well as other large dogs for many more years to come.
Final Thoughts
After over 2 years of using the KONG ball it still looks brand new. It is an average fetch ball and would likely make a good tug toy though there are better tug toy options in the market right now. Regardless, if you’re looking to add a very durable and versatile dog toy to your collection then this one might be right for you.
